Dmitri lvanovich mendeleev is the father of modern periodic table.

Modern Periodic has 7 period (1-7) and 18 Group (1-18).

This periodic table has 118 elements.

Some advance information about modern periodic.

Main foundation of periodic table is electron permutation.

Modern periodic table  has 18 Group and 4 Blocks.

That four blocks are [S,P,D,F].

In modern periodic table

S-Block:

The elements whose atoms have the last electron in the "S" orbital are called "S" block elements.

Maximum electron holding capability of "S" Block is Two electron.Means 'S' Block can have only two electron.

S-block has 14 Elements.

P-Block:

Maximum electron holding capability of "p" Block is six electron.Means 'p' Block can have only six electron.

The elements whose atoms have the last electron in the P orbital are called P block elements.

P-block has 36 Elements.

D-Block:

Maximum electron holding capability of "D" Block is Ten electron.Means 'D' Block can have only ten electron.

The elements whose atoms have the last electron in the D orbital are called D block elements

D-block has 41 Elements.

F-Block:

Maximum electron holding capability of "F" Block is fourteen electron.Means 'F' Block can have only fourteen electron.

The elements whose atoms have the last electron in the P orbital are called P block elements

F-block has 27 Elements.

Group explore:
